Il Dave Brubeck Quartet è stato un quartetto jazz statunitense formatosi nel 1951 dal pianista Dave Brubeck. Considerato uno dei gruppi più influenti del jazz moderno, il quartetto ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni '50 e '60 grazie a una musica innovativa che mescolava elementi di swing, bop e modal jazz con un'attenzione particolare alla struttura ritmica. Il gruppo era composto da Dave Brubeck al pianoforte, Paul Desmond al sassofono contralto, Eugene Wright al contrabbasso e Joe Morello alla batteria. Tra i brani più famosi del quartetto ricordiamo "Take Five", "Blue Rondo à la Turk" e "The Duke", quest'ultimo dedicato a Duke Ellington.
