Albert King (25 aprile 1923 – 21 dicembre 1992) è stato un chitarrista e cantante di blues statunitense. Nato a Indianola, Mississippi, King ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '50 suonando in locali del Delta del Mississippi. È noto per il suo stile unico di chitarra caratterizzato da una tecnica aggressiva e dal suono potente, spesso definito "blues elettrico". Il suo uso innovativo della distorsione e dell'overdrive ha influenzato generazioni di chitarristi blues e rock. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "Born Under a Bad Sign", "Crossroads" e "The Sky Is Crying". King ha vinto numerosi premi, tra cui un Grammy Award nel 1970 per il suo album "I'm in Love Again". La sua musica è stata fondamentale nell'evoluzione del blues moderno e continua ad essere apprezzata da appassionati di tutto il mondo.
