Nine Days è un gruppo musicale rock formatosi a Long Island, New York, nel 1995. Il nucleo fondante del gruppo è costituito dal cantante e chitarrista John Hampson e dal batterista Brian Desveaux. Nel corso degli anni, la formazione ha subito diverse variazioni, ma il sound distintivo di Nine Days è rimasto sempre incentrato su melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'atmosfera malinconica che fonde elementi di rock alternativo, pop e folk. Il loro album di debutto, "The Madding Crowd", pubblicato nel 1998, ha riscosso un discreto successo grazie al singolo "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)", che ha raggiunto la top 20 delle classifiche Billboard Modern Rock Tracks.
