Morningwood è una rock band newyorkese formatasi nel 2001. La formazione vede alla guida Chantal Claret, cantante e compositrice di origini francesi. Il loro sound si caratterizza per un mix di hard rock, punk e influenze alternative, con testi spesso provocatori e diretti. Dopo aver firmato un contratto con la Capitol Records, hanno pubblicato due album: "Morningwood" (2003) e "The Devil's Playground" (2005). Tra i brani più noti si ricordano "Get Your Hands Off Me", "I Don't Wanna Be Your Girl" e "Love Is a Battlefield".
