Sting, pseudonimo di Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, è un cantautore, polistrumentista e attore britannico nato a Newcastle upon Tyne nel 1951. Ha raggiunto la fama internazionale come bassista, cantante e principale autore dei The Police, gruppo musicale attivo dal 1977 al 1984.
