Burning Point è un gruppo musicale italiano di genere gothic rock formatosi nel 1997. Il loro sound si caratterizza per sonorità dark e melodie orecchiabili, influenzate dal gothic metal e dalla musica classica. Tra i loro album più noti figurano *Feeding the Flames* (2000), *Salvation by Fire* (2003) e *Burned Down Enemy* (2006). Burning Point ha collaborato con artisti come Lacuna Coil e Theatre of Tragedy, partecipando anche a festival di musica metal come il Wacken Open Air. Il gruppo è noto per i suoi concerti energici e coinvolgenti, caratterizzati da un'atmosfera cupa e suggestiva. Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi del loro repertorio includono *The Last Stand*, *Blood and Tears* e *Into the Fire*.

Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.

E' prevista per la prossima estate l'uscita del docufilm "Iron Maiden's Lost Singer", che riguarda Paul Di'Anno, cantante degli Iron Maiden dal 1978 al 1981, che è venuto a mancare a fine 2024.
La storica band mod torinese Statuto ristampa due classici della propria discografia, a partire da venerdì 13 febbraio saranno infatti disponibili per Sony Music gli album "Tempi Moderni" del 1997 e "Riskatto" del 1999. Il primo pubblicato originariamente nel 1997 torna oggi in versione doppio vinile 180 grammi e CD.
