Xandria è una band metal sinfonico tedesca formatasi a Bielefeld nel 1997. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e un mix di heavy metal con elementi classici e gothic, ha conquistato un seguito internazionale. La formazione originale comprendeva la cantante Dianne van Giersbergen (conosciuta anche per il suo lavoro con After Forever), il chitarrista Marco Heubaum e il bassista Steven Wussow. Nel corso degli anni, Xandria ha attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, passando da sonorità più dark a un approccio più epico e melodico. Tra i loro album più importanti figurano "Tears of Silence" (2001), "The Dark Side of the Sun" (2004) e "Ravenheart" (2008). Xandria è nota per le performance dal vivo energiche e coinvolgenti, che hanno contribuito a consolidare la loro reputazione come una delle band più importanti del genere metal sinfonico. Tra i brani rappresentativi si possono citare "The Last Goodbye", "Now and Forever" e "Ravenheart".
