I let 'em closer, they gon' stab me in my back
Can't be close to people
Soon as I turn my back, they gon' stab me, I can't let 'em get too close to people
Yeah, yeah
I'm tryna count a million dollars for every hard time
I watched my dog drop tears as a war cry, yeah-yeah
Karma real and I can't dodge mine
I try to do my dirt and tried to hide it from the Lord's eyes
My character assassinated, show love, they still hated
Never trust a crocodile, I'll see you lat?r, alligator
Did me bad, won't double back, I promise, I won't n?ver save her
Movin' up just like the Jeffersons, gotta catch me on the elevator
Gotta stop tellin' my moves, they hate to see more blessings in my favor
I done fed some people that should've never had a seat at my table
They'll kill off jealousy, I learned that based off Cain and Abel
When you keep it real, it's kind of sit through all the fakers
I can't trust these niggas
I can't trust these bitches either (Trust these bitches either)
Soon as I turn my back, they gon' put a knife right in
I can't be close to people (I can't be close to people)
I can't trust these niggas
I can't trust these bitches either (Trust these bitches either)
Soon as I turn my back, they gon' put a knife right in
I can't be close to people (Uh)
Safe to say, hard times made me (Yeah)
Long nights with no sleep
With the devil on my shoulder, it was hard to find peace
38 Smith & Wesson or go forty millimeter
Pen and pad saved my life, but I'm still surrounded by evil
Day ones changed on me, hard to put my trust in people
Honestly, I'm still the same, but in your head, we ain't equal
My goals, I been reachin', these hoes, they be leechin'
I'm knee-deep in the game and you still up in the bleachers
People be inconsiderate, but want you to consider them (Yeah)
The day you cross, when that's the day you lost, it's too up in the wind
Too real, I can't pretend and kick it with you niggas
I'm too busy on the grind, tryna stack a hundred million
I can't trust these niggas
I can't trust these bitches either
Soon as I turn my back, they gon' put a knife right in
I can't be close to people
I can't trust these niggas
I can't trust these bitches either
Soon as I turn my back, they gon' put a knife right in
I can't be close to people
