Quorthon (pseudonimo di Ace Börje Thomas Forsberg) è stato un musicista e cantante svedese, figura chiave del movimento black metal. Attivo dal 1982 al 1997, Quorthon ha fondato i Bathory, band che ha portato a diventare uno dei pilastri del genere black metal con album come "Blood Fire Death" (1984) e "Under the Sign of the Black Mark" (1987). Quorthon è stato un pioniere nell'evoluzione del black metal, passando da sonorità più doom metal a influenze folk e viking. Tra i brani rappresentativi di Bathory figurano "The Lake", "A Fine Day to Die" e "Hammerheart". Quorthon ha lasciato un'impronta indelebile sulla scena musicale underground, ispirando generazioni di musicisti.
