Siouxsie and the Banshees sono stati una delle band più influenti della generazione post-punk. Attive dal 1976 al 1996, hanno contribuito a definire i generi post-punk, goth e new wave, influenzando artisti successivi come The Cure, Massive Attack e LCD Soundsystem. La voce potente e drammatica di Siouxsie Sioux, unita alla musica dark e sperimentale del gruppo, ha fatto di Siouxsie and the Banshees una delle band più iconiche degli anni '80. Tra i loro album più importanti ricordiamo *The Scream* (1978), *Juju* (1981) e *Hyaena* (1982). Alcuni dei brani più rappresentativi sono "Spellbound", "Hong Kong Garden" e "Cities in Dust".
