Cannibal Corpse è una band statunitense di death metal formatasi a Buffalo, New York nel 1988. Considerati uno dei pilastri del genere, hanno contribuito in modo significativo allo sviluppo del death metal e raccolto un seguito di culto. La loro musica, caratterizzata da sonorità aggressive e testi violenti, ha spesso scatenato polemiche e censure, con alcuni album vietati alla vendita o all'ascolto, soprattutto in Germania. Nonostante le controversie, Cannibal Corpse hanno venduto oltre un milione di copie in tutto il mondo, consolidando la loro posizione come una delle band più influenti del genere death metal. Tra i brani rappresentativi: 'Hammer Smashed Face', 'Evisceration Plague', 'Bloodthirst'.
