Ol' Dirty Bastard, pseudonimo di Russell Tyrone Jones (1968-2004), è stato un rapper statunitense considerato uno dei pionieri del Wu-Tang Clan e una figura iconica della scena hip hop degli anni '90. Nato a Brooklyn, New York, Jones si distinse per il suo stile rap caratterizzato da flussi veloci, rime intricate e testi spesso provocatori e autodistruttivi. Il suo album di debutto, *Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version*, pubblicato nel 1995, è considerato un classico del genere. Ol' Dirty Bastard collaborò con numerosi artisti, tra cui Method Man, RZA e Ghostface Killah, contribuendo a definire l'identità sonora del Wu-Tang Clan. Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano *Shimmy Shimmy Ya*, *Brooklyn Zoo* e *Got Your Money*. La sua vita fu segnata da problemi personali e legali, che culminarono nel suo tragico decesso all'età di 35 anni.
