Lupe Fiasco, pseudonimo di Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, è un rapper e cantante statunitense nato a Chicago nel 1982. Conosciuto per le sue rime complesse, il flusso rapido e la vena poetica, Lupe Fiasco ha conquistato una solida fanbase grazie all'originalità del suo sound che fonde hip-hop con influenze jazz, soul e funk. Il suo album di debutto, *Food and Liquor*, pubblicato nel 2006, è stato accolto con grande successo dalla critica e ha consacrato Lupe Fiasco come uno dei rapper più talentuosi della sua generazione. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano «Kick, Push», «Superstar» e «Daydreamin'».
