Kreator è una band tedesca di thrash metal originaria di Essen. Attiva dal 1982, il gruppo è considerato uno dei pionieri del genere e ha influenzato in modo significativo la scena musicale heavy metal mondiale. Con un sound aggressivo e ritmico, caratterizzato da riff veloci e testi politici, Kreator ha pubblicato una vasta discografia di album di successo, tra cui "Endless Pain" (1985), "Pleasure to Kill" (1986) e "Extreme Aggression" (1989). Il gruppo è noto per le sue performance live intense e energiche. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Flag of Hate", "Betrayer", e "Terrible Certainty". Mille Petrozza, il frontman della band, è considerato uno dei vocalist più carismatici del thrash metal.
