Pulp è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Sheffield nel 1978 da Jarvis Cocker, cantante e principale compositore del gruppo, insieme ad alcuni compagni di scuola. Dopo una fase iniziale caratterizzata da cambiamenti frequenti nella formazione e sperimentazioni musicali in diversi generi, il successo arrivò negli anni '90 con un sound indie rock fortemente influenzato dalla cultura popolare britannica. Pulp è considerato uno dei gruppi più importanti della scena musicale inglese degli anni '90, grazie a album come *Different Class* (1995) e *This Is Hardcore* (1998), che hanno riscosso grande successo di critica e pubblico. Jarvis Cocker è noto per il suo stile provocatorio e le sue performance teatrali sul palco. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "Common People", "Disco 2000" e "Babies".
