Evergrey è una band di power metal progressivo proveniente da Gothenburg, Svezia. Fondata nel 1995, ha pubblicato il suo album d'esordio *The Dark Discovery* nel 1998. Tra i loro album più noti figurano *In Search of Truth* (2001), *Recreation Day* (2003) e *Torn* (2008). Il sound di Evergrey si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di melodie orecchiabili, riff heavy metal e un tocco progressivo che emerge nelle strutture complesse delle canzoni. Il cantante Tom S. Englund è noto per la sua voce potente e versatile, capace di passare da toni melodici a urla gutturali con grande facilità. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo si possono citare *'The Dark Discovery'* , *'Mastermind'* , *'A Touch of Blessing'* e *'Broken Wings'*.
