Tenacious D è un duo musicale statunitense formato da Jack Black e Kyle Gass, noto per la fusione di musica rock con il comico volgare. Il nome della band deriva dall'espressione "Tenacious D", utilizzata dai telecronisti dell'NBA come abbreviazione di "Tenacious defense" (difesa tenace). Attivi dal 1994, hanno pubblicato tre album in studio: "Tenacious D" (2001), "The Pick of Destiny" (2006) e "Rize of the Fenix" (2012). Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da riff rock energici, testi umoristici e spesso autoironici, con influenze di heavy metal, folk e blues.
