If I was perfect
You wouldn't ever hear a song
You wouldn't know about the dude
Who lets you know? you’re not alone
You wouldn't have the tattoo
On your arm, that's lookin' at you
All the lyrics on your wall inside your room
They'd be gone - I'd be too
I'd be washing dishes at a restaurant
And wishin' that I would've stayed Christian
Because Jesus saves his children
Now I'm 23 and feeling like I'm 85
All my friends are gone
And I don't know if I should stay alive
I guess, I need some rest
Yeah, I guess, I need some rest
Yeah, I probably need some r?st
But I can't rest in peace, until I r?st in peace
I guess, that means I’ll just
Stop myself from having these feelings
Haunted by the past I'm relivin'
Why am I staying alive?
Give me death, I'm ready and willing
All these words, they said meant to kill me
Why can’t I escape to the sky?
"Hooray" when I die
You got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted
If I was perfect
You wouldn't ever see a show
Where everyone is welcome
And feels loved and feels at home
You wouldn't have the message
On the scars from the depression
And the hearts that I wrote out for when you're blue
They'd be gone - I'd be too
At night, I wanna die from readin' things about my life
That never fuckin' happened
You weren't there at any time
You did sit behind the screen
And try to seem better 'cause you'd never
Have same shit that I've seen ever
When would I feel better?
I guess, I need some rest
Yeah, I guess, I need some rest
Yeah, I probably need some rest
But I can't rest in peace, until I rest in peace
I guess, that means I’ll just
Stop myself from having these feelings
Haunted by the past I'm relivin'
Why am I staying alive?
Give me death, I'm ready and willing
All these words, they said meant to kill me
Why can’t I escape to the sky?
"Hooray" when I die
You got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted, didn't you?
You got what you wanted, you got what you wanted, didn't you?
