Michael Kiske è un cantante tedesco nato nel 1964, considerato uno dei pilastri del power metal. È noto soprattutto per il suo periodo con gli Helloween, band heavy metal tedesca di grande successo internazionale. Ha cantato con gli Helloween dal 1987 al 1993 e poi nuovamente dal 2017 ad oggi. Durante la sua prima esperienza con la band ha contribuito a definire l'estetica del power metal con album come *Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I* (1988) e *Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II* (1989), considerati capolavori del genere. Dopo il suo primo addio agli Helloween, Kiske ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come *Instant Clarity* (1996) e collaborando con altri artisti metal come Tony Martin degli Black Sabbath. Nel 2017 è tornato a cantare con gli Helloween, contribuendo a nuovi album come *My God-Given Right* (2015). Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Michael Kiske figurano "I Want Out", "Future World", "The Time of the Oath" e "Where the Sun Never Shines".
