Smile Empty Soul è una band post-grunge americana proveniente da Santa Clarita, in California. Formatasi alla fine degli anni '90, il gruppo ha raggiunto la popolarità negli anni 2000 con album come "Embrace" (2001) e "Chemicals" (2003). Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, riff di chitarra pesanti e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi come l'amore, la perdita e la ricerca di identità.
