Falconer è una band di power metal svedese proveniente da Mjölby, formatasi nel 1999. Fondata dall'ex chitarrista di Mithotyn, Stefan Weinerhall, la band continua molte delle tradizioni del suo precedente gruppo e suona un genere di power metal che utilizza strumenti folk e melodie per creare un suono più medievale. Falconer è noto per le sue atmosfere epiche, i riff melodici e le performance vocali potenti. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Last of the Runes", "Northwind" e "Black Moon Rising". L'album di debutto "Chapters from a Steel Epoque" (2001) ha segnato l'inizio di una carriera ricca di successi, consolidando la posizione della band nel panorama metal europeo.
