Tesla è un gruppo musicale statunitense di hard rock formatosi nel 1984 a Sacramento, California. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo commerciale negli anni '90 con album come "Mechanical Resonance" (1989) e "The Great Radio Controversy" (1991), caratterizzati da sonorità hard rock influenzate dal glam metal e dalla musica blues. Tra i brani più noti di Tesla figurano "Love Song", "Signs", e "What You Give". La formazione originale comprendeva Jeff Keith (voce), Frank Hannon (chitarra), Brian Wheat (basso) e Troy Luccketta (batteria). Nel corso degli anni, la band ha attraversato diverse fasi di cambiamenti nella formazione, ma il nucleo originario è rimasto costante. Tesla continua ad essere attiva nel panorama musicale hard rock, pubblicando nuovi album e intraprendendo tour internazionali.
