There's a note on the door
There's a note on the door
There's a note on the door
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
Said we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
And we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
Dear mama there's a man at the door
She say don't answer, we say what for?
She beat our ass and we don't answer no more
We had all we could want so we ain't know we were poor
Say we ain't know we was broke mama been workin' a double
Did it all on her own she had no one to cover
And we couldn't stay out of trouble
We can't stay out the street
But if you looked in her eyes, you'd think everything sweet
What you know bout a cut off notice or leavin' the oven open
Or wearin' your mama's socks and tuck em so no one notice
No jordans we can't afford them
We hurt cause we spoiled
How fuckin' ungrateful she did everything for us
Mama single who gonna accept her with two little boys
Couldn't help on the bills and we complained about chores
Mama cry every night, all though she never show it
I got too old to ignore it, it's time for us to do more
I tried a job but the checks ain't comin' as fast as the bills
So you know what's next you know what this is
This that quarter pound stashed in the outhouse
8 ounce of syrup in the frigerator flow
It ain't gonna work itself out
So I don't wanna hear that no more
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
Said we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
And we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
Well yeah our house caught fire we had to live in motels
We had to pack up our things I grabbed my clothes and a scale
Mama walked in our room I had pounds on the sink
Mama turned back around acted like that not what she seen
No she ain't like it at all I lied dead in her face
I told it wasn't mine and it'll be gone by today
Well it was gone in an hour give it two at the most
That's why I grind so hard now I used to be broke
Used to color my shoes we couldn't afford new kicks
I put a hole in my shirt I had to learn how to stitch
Mama ain't miss a Christmas got everything on our list
So when we saw our cousins they used to think we was rich
I sold more green than the Grinch to keep my fam out the tent
We'll be out on the streets if we late again on the rent
This that pull up to the house to find all your shit on the curbside, wow
That shit so embarrassing had to move to a whole new side of town
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
Said we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
Dear mama there's a note on the door
It say we got 30 days then we gotta roll
I know we all we got, so we got no where to go
And we goin' through hell now we out in the cold
