Modestep è lo pseudonimo di Josh Friend, un DJ e produttore musicale britannico noto per la sua musica che fonde dubstep, drum and bass e rock elettronica. Originariamente Modestep era un gruppo musicale formatosi a Londra nel 2010 da Josh Friend, Pat Lundy e Tony Friend. Il gruppo ha pubblicato tre album in studio: "Evolution" (2011), "The Glitch" (2013) e "One More Time" (2015). Nel 2022, con l'uscita di Pat Lundy, Modestep è diventato un progetto solista. Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo ricordiamo "Sunlight", "Another Day", "The Glitch" e "Burn It Down".
