I must commend myself
I turned a five dollars mixtape hustle into an empire
I went from Clark, Atlanta to the top of the charts
You know
We gon' find a way or make one
Results take time
(That's Fyre)
We gon' always find a way
We gon' always find a way
You niggas got distant, they lost they ambition
I stood my ground, I know I'm on a mission
'Cause we gon' always find a way
All I ever wanted was clothes and new shoes to impress girls at school
Gorwing up in the ghetto, that's what we labeled as cool
My mom worked two different jobs and make moves
To make sur? it wasn't much that we wasn't able to do
Back at Deer Valley, I r?ally walked in my truth
Everybody look at me as the rich kid that hooped
Imagine goin' through fed raids and lawsuits
Then poof, everything changed out of the blue
We went from ownin' a restaurant to missin' meals
See, now I'm understandin' how some of my friends feel
Shit, I used to give 'em shoes and put clothes on they back
Until I went broke, now I'm askin' for shit back (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
I stopped playin' hoop and I figured out how to rap
Made a stack, from that point it was never no lookin' back (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
You learn a lot of lessons in life from what you lack, that's facts
We came a long way from where we was at
We gon' always find a way (Find a way)
We gon' always find a way (Find a way)
You niggas got distant, they lost they ambition
I stood my ground, I know I'm on a mission
'Cause we gon' always find a way
It was times I felt like makin' music ain't makin' sense
'Cause the money I made off hustlin' came quick
It's hard to stay legit when you worried about your rent
That's when you start to question if dreams even exist
Stat Quo told me that my music just wasn't it
And if I didn't have a gimmick then people wouldn't give a shit
It's crazy how a nigga who ain't made nobody's list
Can make you feel like you can't go where you tryna get
You nigga from '06 culture with no chips
It's always a grinch hatin' on somebody's gift
You niggas act like you don't want no one to get rich
Except yourself, you selfish just like my bitch (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
Fallin' short almost took my pride away (Yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah)
Niggas sleepin' on my made me feel some kind of way (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
I felt like the pandemic took my shot away (Yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah, yeah-yeah)
But no matter what, I wake up every day and say
We gon' always find a way (Find a way)
We gon' always find a way (Find a way)
(Symba)
You niggas got distant, they lost they ambition
I stood my ground, I know I'm on a mission
'Cause we gon' always find a way
