Flipsyde è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere rap/R and B/rock originario di Oakland, California. Il gruppo è composto da Steve Knight (cantante e chitarrista), Dave Lopez (chitarrista), Jinho "the Piper" Ferreira (rapper) e Chantelle Paige (cantante). Flipsyde ha intrapreso ampie tournée con artisti come Fort Minor, The Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg e ha partecipato al tour Anger Management. Il loro singolo "Someday" è stato scelto come tema musicale per i Giochi Olimpici Invernali del 2006 a Torino, in Italia, ed è anche presente nella colonna sonora del film del 2008 Never Back Down. Il loro album di debutto, We the People, ha visto il successo di altri tre singoli: "Happy Birthday", "Trumpets (Never Be The Same Again)" e "Angel". L'album è stato ampiamente elogiato dalla critica, tra cui una recensione del Washington Post che lo ha definito il miglior album hip hop del 2006.
