Big Daddy Kane, pseudonimo di Antonio Hardy, è un rapper statunitense nato a Brooklyn, New York, il 10 settembre 1968. Cresciuto nel quartiere di Bedford-Stuyvesant, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80, diventando rapidamente uno dei rapper più influenti della scena hip hop. Conosciuto per le sue rime intricate e il flow impeccabile, Kane ha contribuito a definire lo stile del rap old school con album come "Long Live the Kane" (1988) e "Taste of Chocolate" (1990). Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Ain't No Half Steppin'", "I Get the Job Done" e "The Symphony". Kane ha collaborato con artisti come KRS-One, Rakim e Biz Markie.
