Deer Tick è un gruppo musicale folk alternativo statunitense formatosi nel 2004 a Providence, Rhode Island. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound crudo e autentico, influenzato da cantautori come Neil Young e Townes Van Zandt. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'atmosfera malinconica. Tra i membri fondatori ci sono John McCauley (voce, chitarra), Ian O'Neil (chitarra), Dennis Ryan (basso) e Robbie Crowell (batteria). Deer Tick ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui *The Black Dirt Sessions* (2007), *Born On Flag Day* (2009) e *War Elephant* (2013).
