David Michael Hasselhoff (17 luglio 1952) è un attore, produttore televisivo, cantante e personaggio televisivo statunitense. Noto per il suo ruolo di Mitch Buchannon nella serie televisiva "Baywatch", Hasselhoff ha raggiunto la fama internazionale anche come cantante pop negli anni '80 e '90. Ha venduto oltre 30 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, con successi come "Looking for Freedom" e "Jump in My Heart". La sua musica è stata spesso associata al genere synth-pop e ha avuto un grande impatto sulla cultura pop tedesca, dove è considerato un'icona.
