Sophie Michelle Ellis-Bextor (nata il 10 aprile 1979) è una cantautrice britannica di grande successo, nota per la sua voce melodiosa e le sue canzoni pop orecchiabili. Ha debuttato nel 2001 con l'album "Read My Lips", che ha raggiunto il numero uno nella classifica britannica e ha generato successi come "Murder on the Dancefloor" e "Get Over You".
