Seattle indie-rock band Minus The Bear delve into math-rock in the way they frequently change time signature; punk-funk in the way these rhythmic changes are often danceable; and prog rock in the sense that any rock band who knows what a time signature is might be attributed this much-maligned tag for having the temerity to prefer calculating structures over flat-out rockin'.
