Hot Hot Heat è una band canadese di alternative rock formatasi nel 1999. Originariamente con un sound synth-pop, hanno incorporato influenze new wave e post-punk nel corso della loro carriera. Il loro album di debutto, *Make Up The Breakdown* (2002), pubblicato dopo la firma con Sub Pop, ha riscosso grande successo critico.
