She seemed alright
When I saw her home last night
She seemed alright
With not much on her mind
She seemed alright
She said her dreams were coming true
She seemed alright
What was I supposed to do?
’Cause I don’t remember much of what she told me
I’ve wondered if she ever gave a clue
I’ve gone over every word I can remember
But I never saw you doing this to you
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
Now I’m sick and tired of trying to think of details
We said goodnight and then we shared a kiss
I could have stayed for longer, probably should have
But the last thing I saw happening was this
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
Well, I held her hand as we walked outside
I asked her if she wanted to walk or ride
And she said something that made her cry
About the beautiful night, about the beautiful sky
So I walked her home, we counted stars
She said something about ‘Life on Mars?’
But I don’t know if she meant Bowie or not
’Cause she really loved him a lot
She seemed alright
She looked me in the eye
She seemed alright
So full of love and life
She seemed alright
We kissed and walked away
She seemed alright
I guess I should have stayed
But I don’t remember much of what she told me
I know that she said she was having fun
Now something may come to the year of moment
But I really hope that nowhere never comes
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Girl from the factory is always going to haunt me on, and on, and on
She seemed alright
Oltre a "Turning Japanese", altri brani rappresentativi del gruppo includono "News at Ten" e "Prisoners of the Night".
