Nappy Roots è un gruppo hip hop statunitense originario di Bowling Green, Kentucky. Formatosi nel 1995, il gruppo è composto da quattro membri: Skinny DeVille, Melvin "Fish" Williams, Ron "B-Cuz" Bryant e Willie "BiG A$$" Johnson. Nappy Roots è noto per la sua musica che fonde elementi di hip hop tradizionale con influenze country e bluegrass, creando un sound unico e riconoscibile. Il loro album di debutto, *Watermelon, Chicken and Gritz*, pubblicato nel 2002, ha raggiunto il successo commerciale e ha contribuito a far conoscere al pubblico il gruppo.
