I'm all used up this morning
So empty on the road tonight
Some things never end like there supposed to be
I never should have given up on you and me
And I know your miles away
And yesterday won't change
I take the good with the bad
I make the most of what I have
Even when these walls are falling down on me
You keep me alive
I'm just ordinary man
In a rock n' roll band
Who keeps rolling on
Who keeps rolling on to the good with the bad
I'm traveling my way back home to Detroit City
I'm finding my way back home to you
No more empty promises see I learned from my mistakes
So I never will be giving up on me and you
And I know the past can't change
So I understand if you won't stay
I take the good with the bad
I make the most of what I have
Even when these walls are falling down on me
You keep me alive
I'm just ordinary man
In a rock n' roll band
Who keeps rolling on
Who keeps rolling on to the good with the bad
When times are so bad
You lifted m up
Your all that is good for me
Inside there is love
I wanted you more
You needed me less
And that your gone
I realized your the best thing I ever had
And now I take the good with the bad
I make the most of what I have
And even when these walls are falling down on me
Even when these walls
Even when these walls fall down on me
I take the good with the bad
I make the most of what I have
Even when these walls are falling down on me
You keep me alive
I'm just ordinary man
In a rock n' roll band
Who keeps rolling on
Who keeps rolling on
Who keeps hanging on
I got to hold on to the good with the bad
