Chris August è un cantautore e musicista statunitense di genere cristiano contemporaneo. Nato nel 1983 in Florida, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di 16 anni pubblicando il suo primo album indipendente. Nel 2007 ha firmato con l'etichetta Sparrow Records e ha raggiunto il successo nazionale con il singolo "No Far Away". August è noto per le sue melodie orecchiabili, testi spirituali e la sua voce potente. Tra i suoi album più importanti figurano "What You're Looking For" (2010) e "Come Now Our King" (2013). Chris August continua a esibirsi in tour e registrare musica, rimanendo una figura influente nella scena musicale cristiana contemporanea.
