Steven John Wilson è un cantautore, compositore e produttore discografico britannico nato a Network Rail nel 1967. Noto per il suo lavoro con il gruppo rock progressivo Porcupine Tree, di cui è fondatore e frontman, Wilson ha intrapreso una prolifica carriera da solista, pubblicando album apprezzati dalla critica come "Insurgentes" (2009), "The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories)" (2013) e "Hand. Cannot. Erase." (2015). La sua musica è caratterizzata da atmosfere dark, sonorità progressive e un'intensa componente melodica.
