Things change like never before
Never before
Like never before
Never before
As I scribble away, I reminisce on my days
Back when mom was broke and on the block workin' minimum wage
Knew I would finally escape, put my thoughts on the page
Anything to change this trailer home and get out of the rain
Started slangin' CDs, which made me a bit obsessive
Which turned to a daydr?am, quickly became depr?ssion
Which turned to a EP, finally found my weapon
Unloadin' these sixteens, and sendin' 'em through yo' chest
To the homies that I've lost, ones that's stuck in the box
Wishing you hit my phone 'cause I ain't ever forgot
This the realest shit I ever wrote, the father, son and holy smoke
And chokin' on this cigarette and workin' on a broken home
If you wanna find me, I'll be goin' under
If you need to find me, I'll be sinking under
Things change like never before
Never before
Like never before
Never before
Ayy, I found GarageBand flows with type beats
Spittin' bars with 2
K, passing liquor with hype beasts
Only thing we focused on was gettin' these kicks
And flash 'em off the next game while we win in this ship, mm
Pass to Malibu, I hope my father don't hear us
Screamin', "Fuck the system," maybe why he never came near us
Edibles got me weirder, but I could give a fuck
I'm happy with this mic I bought
Maybe thirty bucks, but that shit gettin' me through a lot
I wake up early, found my fit for the day
I went to school with Jesus Christ, those kicks was my only way
I keep a pretty penny saved, whatever I gotta save
To buy some phones, maybe 11s, some 4s and some 8s
To find the people I rock wit'
Laced up in dead sock like these people gon' rob him
His pros over profits, jazz flow, ball like I'm Stockton
I got this fuckin' world in my pocket
If you wanna find me, I'll be goin' under
If you need to find me, I'll be sinking under
Things change like never before
Never before
Like never before
Never before
