Stay: save the world with me
And if we're ever to be
We shall be
I'm not from here, Heartbreaker!
I'm trying to figure you out:
It seems you're 'varied'
Though by the look on your face
It seems you are looking very friendly
I'm not your girl, Heartbreaker
I'm not from here
Where the hell did my head go!?
And you promised me:
You'd be here to stay until the wheels fell off
In synergy
"Please know your loss is noted..."
You caught me rising
You called me right out
I really need to talk to you
I can see it in your eyes
Some things you do until you get it
It ain't nothing to do with pride
So if you need to talk to me
We can take it day by day
The things we do to forget it
It ain't coming between us
(Waiting for the perfect love)
Some day I'll be on my own
Devoid of opinions and you can tell me nothing
Some day I'll be on my own
In front of the ocean and you can all fuck off
(Waiting for the perfect love)
(Waiting for the perfect love)
(Waiting for the perfect love)
(Waiting for the perfect love)
Creeping under the stairs tonight, as the wolves begin to howl
(See the world, farther on, I may never know the way to go)
I'm not your little boy, Heartbreaker!
I'm not from here
Where the hell did this come from?
Stay, save the world with me
And if we're ever to be:
We shall be!
Love is the way... Love is the only way...
