REO Speedwagon è un gruppo musicale rock statunitense formatosi a Champaign, Illinois, alla fine degli anni '60. Il nome deriva da una vecchia diligenza americana che trasportava merci e passeggeri. La formazione originale comprendeva Kevin Cronin (voce), Neal Doughty (tastiere), Gary Richrath (chitarra), Bruce Hall (basso) e Alan Gratzer (batteria). Nel corso degli anni '70, il gruppo ha attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, passando dal hard rock al progressive rock. Il successo è arrivato negli anni '80 con album come "Hi Infidelity" (1980) e "Can't Fight This Feeling" (1984), che hanno generato successi radiofonici come "Keep on Loving You", "Take It On the Run" e il titolo dell'album "Can't Fight This Feeling". REO Speedwagon è noto per le sue melodie orecchiabili, i testi romantici e la potente performance dal vivo. La band ha continuato a registrare e esibirsi fino al 2025, anno in cui si sono sciolti.
