Rise Against è un gruppo musicale punk rock statunitense formatosi a Chicago nel 1999. La band attuale comprende il cantante e chitarrista Tim McIlrath, il chitarrista Zach Blair, il bassista Joe Principe e il batterista Brandon Barnes. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del movimento emo-punk degli anni 2000, Rise Against si distingue per testi politici e sociali che affrontano temi come la guerra, l'oppressione e la giustizia sociale. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff energici, melodie orecchiabili e un forte impatto live.
