Xavier Rudd è un cantautore e polistrumentista australiano nato nel 1971. Con cittadinanza canadese, si distingue per la sua musica folk acustica, spesso arricchita da elementi tradizionali aborigeni. Noto come one-man band, suona in modo spettacolare circondato da una vasta gamma di strumenti: tre didgeridoo disposti davanti a sé, una chitarra sulle gambe, uno stompbox ai piedi e un'ampia selezione di bassi, banjo, armoniche e tamburi a portata di mano. Le sue canzoni affrontano temi sociali come l'ambientalismo e i diritti degli aborigeni, spesso collaborando con membri delle comunità indigene.
