Boston è un gruppo musicale statunitense di rock progressivo formatosi nel 1975 a Boston, Massachusetts. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con l'album omonimo d'esordio del 1976, che include i successi "More Than a Feeling", "Peace of Mind" e "Foreplay/Long Time". L'album è stato uno dei più venduti di tutti i tempi, certificato 17 volte platino dalla Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Il gruppo ha continuato a pubblicare album di successo negli anni '70 e '80, tra cui "Boston" (1978) e "Third Stage" (1986). Il sound di Boston è caratterizzato da riff melodici, arrangiamenti orchestrali e un forte uso della chitarra elettrica. Il gruppo ha influenzato numerose band rock progressive successive.
