The Amity Affliction sono una band post-hardcore australiana originaria di Gympie, nel Queensland. Fondata nel 2003, la formazione attuale comprende Jonny Reeves, Joel Birch, Dan Brown (chitarra) e Joe Longobardi. La band è nota per il suo sound heavy caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi che affrontano temi come la depressione, l'ansia e la perdita. Tra i loro album più importanti figurano "Youngblood" (2012) e "Let the Ocean Take Me" (2016), entrambi accolti con grande successo dalla critica e dal pubblico. Alcuni dei brani rappresentativi di The Amity Affliction includono "Pittsburgh", "Chasing Ghosts", e "Feels Like I'm Dying".
