Kehlani, all'anagrafe Kehlani Ashley Parrish, è una cantautrice e ballerina statunitense nata a Oakland, in California, nel 1995. Ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale come membro del gruppo pop femminile PopLyfe, partecipando al talent show America's Got Talent nel 2011. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo, Kehlani ha intrapreso una carriera da solista, pubblicando mixtape di successo come "Cloud 19" (2014) e "You Should Be Here" (2015), quest'ultimo nominato per un Grammy Award nella categoria Best Urban Contemporary Album.
