Ayy, it's Philthy, nigga (Funk or Die)
Hometown hero (FeezyDisABangah)
I'm the nigga where I'm from
Uh-huh, look
You ain't did it like
I done it, can't walk in my shoes
Tryna motivate the streets, ain't got nothin' to prove
Who gave you niggas hope when they told you to lose?
Backpacks and turkey drives they ain't put on the news
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm a legend where I'm from, I done paid all my dues
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm the nigga in my city, don't get it confused
Hundred pair of Reds I done gave away
They said them niggas wasn't good, so I stayed away
Thirty cops on side the stage up at Rolling Loud
They mad this Lambo and this Bentley cost five hundred thou'
Taco Tuesdays at the Slaphouse
That nigga tough at the tongue 'til we hop out
Backpacks and turkey drives, this the fifth year
Still'll pull up in the foreign in the fifth gear
Couldn't do no shows up in Oakland since '08
But kept my foot on the gas, bitch, the whole way
Always dreamed about performing at The Oracle
When I finally hit that stage, it was historical, it's Philthy
You ain't did it like I done it, can't walk in my shoes
Tryna motivate the streets, ain't got nothin' to prove
Who gave you niggas hope when they told you to lose?
Backpacks and turkey drives they ain't put on the news
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm a legend where I'm from, I done paid all my dues
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm the nigga in my city, don't get it confused
Charity basketball game, me and Cook
I was still street smart, but played by the book
Gave away five verses free for Thanksgiving
Had a healthy litter of merles, gotta thank Beavis
Blacklisted, so they put me on the cover, nigga
I bought FOD chains for a hundred niggas
Opened up a clothing store in the barber shop
You was never in the trap, you ain't never cop
Couldn't sell a thousand CDs all on consignment
Gave away a thousand backpacks at Youth Horizon
I'm just speakin' to the kids from my past experience
Spent three mil' in ice, but I ain't get insurance, it's Philthy
You ain't did it like I done it, can't walk in my shoes
Tryna motivate the streets, ain't got nothin' to prove
Who gave you niggas hope when they told you to lose?
Backpacks and turkey drives they ain't put on the news
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm a legend where I'm from, I done paid all my dues
Hometown hero, I don't do it for views
I'm the nigga in my city, don't get it confused
Uh-uh, nigga, don't get it confused
Niggas know who out here pushin' this Oakland shit, makin' us look good
Still keepin' it one thou' in the streets
Backpack giveaways, turkey drives, you feel me?
Still pullin' up in these foreigns, all my niggas shinin'
My niggas got more ice than you rappers, nigga, huh?
Let's keep it one thousand though
It's Philthy, nigga, I been doin' this shit back to back, you feel me?
Hometown hero shit
It's Philthy, nigga
