Dark Angel è una storica band di thrash metal proveniente da Los Angeles, California. Attiva dal 1983 al 1992 e poi riunitasi nel 2005, la band ha contribuito in modo significativo alla scena thrash americana con un sound aggressivo e tecnico. Il loro album di debutto, *Darkness Descends*, pubblicato nel 1986, è considerato un classico del genere.
