DJ Clue, pseudonimo di Ernesto Shaw, è un rapper e DJ statunitense nato a New York nel 1970. Considerato uno dei pionieri della musica hip hop underground negli anni '90, ha contribuito in modo significativo alla diffusione del genere attraverso i suoi mixtape e le sue collaborazioni con artisti come Jay-Z, Big Pun e Fat Joe. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da un mix di hard rap, boom bap e samples funk. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano "The Professional" (1999) e "Back to the Grind" (2001). DJ Clue ha anche lavorato come produttore discografico e ha contribuito a lanciare la carriera di numerosi artisti emergenti.
