It's that time of the year again
I hate this time of the year
Cause you ain't here
If I had to sum it up
I would say it just like this
Uh
The sun is out, the block is hot
The club is jumping but I'm not happy
No I'm not happy
You know it. girl
The girls are fly, they love my ride
But I'm not smiling cause you're not with me
No, I'm not happy
There was a time when I would wake up
I would see your face with no makeup
So beautiful, beautiful
I miss it so
I would lay there thinking to myself
I can share my life with nobody else
I'm emotional, emotional
Girl, I miss you so
And even though the sun is out
The block is hot, the club is jumping
But I'm not happy
No, I'm not happy
You know it girl
The girls are fly, they love my ride
But I'm not smiling cause you're not with me
You're not with me and I'm not happy
My Friday nights, let me tell you what they look like
Blockbuster home alone movie night
It used to be, it used to be you and me
I still gotcha picture hanging on my wall
Last summer in the Bahamams we had a ball
Wish we could rewind when you were mine
And even though the sun is out
The block is hot, the block
The club is jumping but I'm not happy
No, I'm not happy
Aye, aye, you know it girl
The girls are fly, they love my ride
But I'm not smiling cause you're not with me
You're not with me and I'm not happy
When you hit it
Hope you think about it
What we used to do
Baby girl, I'm sorry when you hit it
Hope you think about it
What we used to do
Baby girl, I'm sorry
And even though the sun is out
The block is hot and the block is hot, baby
The club is jumping but I'm not happy
No, I'm not happy
I'm not, no, you know it girl
The girls are fly, they love my ride
But I'm not smiling cause you're not with me
You're not with me and I'm not happy, baby
