Amortis è un gruppo musicale di genere black metal fondato negli anni '90. Originari dell'Italia, sono noti per la loro atmosfera cupa e le sonorità atmosferiche. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Gift of Tongues" e "Summoned by Astral Fires". Il loro album di debutto, omonimo, risale al 1997. Amortis hanno collaborato con altri artisti del panorama black metal europeo, contribuendo a definire lo stile atmosferico-melodico di questo genere musicale.
